Nigel Roberts Contents page

Nigel Roberts (b.1941) was born in New Zealand, and trained in Auckland as a teacher. He met Australian poet Bruce Beaver while apple-picking near Nelson in New Zealand in 1960. He arrived in Sydney a few years later and worked there as an art teacher until his retirement, living on the Balmain peninsula. He published Free Poetry, a mainly roneod poetry and graphics magazine that featured the work of his own generation. He has travelled to the USA.
