 News Flash  — July 2006: the Australian Poetry Resources Internet Library project (which John Tranter started in 2004 with this prototype Internet site) has been funded with a four-year major Linkage Grant from the Australian Research Council. Professor Elizabeth Webby and Creagh Cole, from the University of Sydney, in association with CAL (the Copyright Agency Limited), will head a team of researchers to build a permanent and wide-ranging library of resources on the Internet. The project will be renamed Australian Poetry Resources Internet Library (APRIL) and will be relocated to the University of Sydney Internet server.
By July 2008, the site will be in a position to accept new work from writers; please don’t send material until then.
